本基金榮幸受香港聾人福利促進會（聾福會）的邀請，到聾福會賽馬會香港中心舉行講座，而我們的董事吳麗嫺醫生受邀擔任9月23日的主講嘉賓，讓聾福會會員了解大腦健康與認知障礙症。
活動當晚的反應不俗，事後聾福會會員也給予許多正面的回應，希望是次活動能幫助聾福會會員更好的認識認知障礙症。

九月廿四日，香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽2022頒獎典禮順利舉行完畢，而香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽2022已經圓滿結束。恭喜喇沙書院鄒俊熙同學獲得香港 Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽 2022的冠軍，而冠軍學校則是由聖保羅男女中學勇奪殊榮。當日由本基金的董事局成員，包括張煜暉醫生、李永恩醫生、歐陽淑賢博士、吳麗嫺醫生和翁建霖教授等人，亦很榮幸邀請到是次大賽的顧問孫嘉俊博士，為一眾得獎者頒發證書和獎座，一同見證難忘的一刻，感謝葉玉如教授及張德輝教授為頒獎典禮致辭。再次感謝每位在場的工作人員，讓頒獎典禮順利舉行。恭喜及祝願各位得獎者前程似錦！
The prize presentation ceremony of the Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 was successfully held on 24 September, which marked the end of the Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022. Congratulations to our Champion, Chau Chun Hei from La Salle College, and the Champion school, St. Paul’s Co-educational College for their exceptional achievement. We are honored to have the Council members of The Hong Kong Brain Foundation, Dr. Cheung Yuk Fai, Dr. Michael Lee, Dr. Stephanie Au-Yeung, Dr. Betty Ng, and Prof. Yung Kin Lam to be the prize presenters. We are glad to invite our honorary advisor of the competition, Dr. Suen Ka Chuen to witness the joyful results of the competition. Special thanks to Prof. Nancy Ip, and the honorary advisor of The Hong Kong Brain Foundation Limited, Prof. Raymond Cheung who gave speeches for the prize winners virtually. Thank you all the helpers for supporting the ceremony. Once again, congratulations to the winners, we wish them all a bright future!
2022/08/01: Meeting with Professor: Dr Lai Kwok On & Dr. Lau Chun Yue七月廿八日，香港Brain Bee腦神經科學比賽的決賽學生在香港城市大學和劉俊宇教授及黎國安教授見面，獲益良多。劉教授利用人工智能的技術，展示了腦癇症於不同階段的病徵，藉此介紹他在腦癇症方面的研究。黎博士則分析了神經元裏的細胞器、巨分子物及觀察方法。It was a fruitful visit for finalist students of Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 at the Department of Neuroscience, City University of Hong Kong on 28 July. Dr. Geoffrey Lau introduced his work on epilepsy with fancy analysis of different stages of epilepsy using AI while Dr Lai Kwok On introduced different methods for analysis of cellular imaging of neurons.
2022/07/29: Meeting with Professor: Prof Yung Kin Lam
七月廿七日，香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽的決賽學生和翁建霖教授在香港浸會大學度過師友共聚的時光。藉此參觀實驗室的機會，學生不但體驗使用切片機，亦認識共軛焦顯微鏡的原理。是次的分享定能讓他們更深入了解神經科學的實驗研究。
Finalist students of Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 were having a great time with Professor Yung Kin Lam at Hong Kong Baptist University on 27 July. Students not only gained hands-on experience on operation vibratome during lab visit, but were also introduced to confocal microscopy. It will certainly provide them with insight into laboratory study of neuroscience.

七月廿六日中文大學蔡永業腦神經科學中心之參觀對我們香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽的決賽學生是一個奇妙的體驗。容永豪教授、柯亞教授及同事們簡介了腦神經科學的歷史、如何成為一個腦神經科學家及光遺傳學的應用等。The visit to CUHK Gerald Choa Neuroscience Centre on 26 July was amazing to our Finalist students of the Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition. A brief history of neuroscience, how to become a neuroscientist, and applications of optogenetics were introduced by Prof Yung Wing Ho, Ke Ya and colleagues.

- 七月廿五日，一眾香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽的決賽學生抵達港大醫學院 生物醫學學院，經歷一次探索神經科學世界的旅程，令人大開眼界。林教授示範了數碼模擬人體三維解剖，同學們還動手解剖老鼠腦、認識神經組織學及 7T MRI 於動物身上的應用。是次的分享及示範定能夠激發他們探索更多神經科學領域的知識。
It was a thrilling experience for the Finalist students of Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 who were introduced to the world of neuroscience by Dr Lim at School of Biomedical Sciences, HKUMed on 25 July. There were demonstrations on 3D Human Anatomy computer simulation, mouse brain hands-on dissection, neurohistology, and the use of 7T MRI for animals. This will certainly inspire them to explore more in the field of neuroscience.

- 香港Brain Bee腦神經科學大賽2022成績優異的學生獲邀到香港神經退行性疾病研究中心參觀。是次活動讓學生大開眼界，更深入認識神經科學。我們期待未來有更多的合作活動。Students who won the highest level of Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 were invited to visit the Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (HKCeND). It was an eye-opening opportunity for students to explore more in neuroscience. We look forward to more collaborative activities in the future.

- 香港Brain Bee 腦神經科學比賽 2022 總決賽已於6月11日順利舉行。冠軍得獎者，鄒俊熙同學將於七月代表香港，出戰國際Brain Bee 腦神經科學比賽。祝願鄒同學有出色的表現，為香港爭光。
The Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 final contest was successfully held on June 11. Our Champion, Chau Chun Hei, is going to represent Hong Kong in the coming International Brain Bee Competition in July. We wish him all the best and win honor for Hong Kong.
- 2022/06/06 > ”腦神經科學進展”講座
- 為了提升本港中學生及醫科學生對腦神經科的興趣，本基金會與香港神經科學學生協會上周六於中文大學鄭裕彤樓演講廳舉辦了一場有關”腦神經科學進展”的講座，由香港中風學會主席李梓強醫生及香港運動障礙學會前主席陳曉暉醫生分別主講”急性中風”及”深腦刺激手術”，讓同學們聽得津津有味。香港神經科學學生協會亦分享了對腦神經學科的追求的歷程，之後大家一齊參觀展位展出的尖端科技實物及模型，並藉此機會向主講嘉賓及本基金會董事提問關於腦神經的問題。
Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Brain Foundation and Hong Kong Student Association of Neuroscience (HKSAN) at Lecture Theature of Cheng Yu Tung Building of CUHK last Saturday, a talk related to the development of Neuroscience was arranged for medical students and secondary school students interested in Neuroscience. We were honored to have Dr Richard Li, President of the Hong Kong Stroke Society and Dr Germaine Chan, past President of the Hong Kong Movement Disorder Society to deliver a lecture about Acute Stroke Management and Deep Brain Stimulation respectively. HKSAN also shared their dedication to Neuroscience. Students enjoyed the talk very much and open their eyes after seeing the displayed advance technology and models at the booth and talking with the speakers/guests at the small group sharing session.

- 香港Brain Bee 腦神經科學比賽 2022 筆試已於5月28日順利舉行，七位成績優異的學生將可進入於6月11日假浸會大學舉行的準決賽。
The Hong Kong Brain Bee Competition 2022 Written Quiz was successfully held on May 28. Seven outstanding students were qualified to enter the Final Contest which will be held on June 11 at the Hong Kong Baptist University.

‘We are All ; One out of Twenty 1/20: Understand epilepsy: Be aware and Be around’ is a campaign launched by the International Epilepsy Day – Hong Kong 2022 Organising Committee. With concerted efforts of various stakeholders and the use of social media, it is hoped that the awareness of the disorder in our community can be aroused and local citizens be equipped with the knowledge so that we can work hand in hand to support the persons with epilepsy and their families.
