On August 21, 2025, seven HK Brain Bee finalists paid a visit to the CUHK School of Biomedical Sciences at the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building. Led by Prof. Ke Ya and Prof. Yung Wing-ho, the research team enlightened students on the holistic perspectives of cognitive neuroscience. In-vivo experiments on mice and rodents utilized neuroanatomical, neurophysiological, behavioural, and computational approaches to better understand the neural mechanisms that underpin the social behaviour, attention, and learning in relation to aging and mental health.
